Any damage or missing items to the property may be discounted from guests CC if its not payed by the guest 5 day after the damage is detected and informed to him. A damage deposit of USD 200 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.This property is located in a residential area, and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise. TLDR; DONT BOOK APT FROM HAPPYHOST IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE MISERABLE WITH YOUR OWN MONEY. It was a challenge from the start. Check in time was 16.00 and I arrived 30 min early on 7th. The lady at the reception made a call and let me in ( no English available) I entered the house and cleaning was not done. There were hair on the floors and the towel they just put(!). They claimed that my early (!) Arrival interrupted their cleaning process. Tried to contact with the landlord, they are not picking up calls, only messages ! They said they can arrange the cleaning on 8th. I said OK. Asked for a washing machine, as they mention they have it in the booking page, apparently it belongs to the building and you need to pay extra for it, which you can only get the tokens with cash. On 8th they texted and said, we are short staffed and unable to do the cleaning, but we will do it on 9th and gave me late checkout. On 9th December they texted again and said the cleaning staff got sick and they can do the cleaning on 10th 😑. Which is understandable. People can get sick, but the problem is my check out is 11th, so I am getting a clean apartment on the 4th day of my 5 day stay. They still not picking up calls, I demanded the refund of the 59 usd cleaning fee, they refused, and not even bothered to return my messages this time. The windows are not blocking noise, there are multiple dogs around and once they start barking at 7 am, it's impossible to sleep. The kitchen stuff, glasses etc, not clean at all, and full of water marks on them. They don't offer a detergent for washing machine or soap for the bathroom at all. And they claim that they are the biggest airbnb partner in Chile with 170 apts. Definitely not worth to stay at all. Go find somewhere else and don't book any of their 170 apartments of HAPPYHOST, cause host might be happy getting your money but sure you will not.
