"Okay stay in Central Kyoto"

The property is quite central and can connect you anywhere in Kyoto, it has direct access to metro which is convenient and the lobby is quickly accessible if you’re walking.

Differently to other Kyoto hotels, they charged me additional taxes despite my booking mentioning includes all fees and taxes which frankly speaking is a rip off, the manager apologized and was understanding but did nothing helpful other than to inform upper management. I wasn’t happy and it was a very scammy thing to do. The hotel felt like a very practical business hotel rather than a luxurious one. The furniture was old. The drop off is very confusing even for some taxis.

Felt like staff were watching every move you make. Didn’t feel comfortable there. Could have been friendlier. Place had a strict , controlling feel to it.
