Candlewood Suites - Boston North Shore - Danvers by IHG

Cleaning of the room was not done the entire time we were there. Carpet was sticky in many areas. we covered them with towels we had to request every day.

Television did not work. It took nearly 1 hour to check in.

I love that it could accommodate all 6 of us. It felt like a little apartment. Our first room the air wasn’t working and they had no problems in changing our rooms.

We didn’t have enough towels for all us. The room wasn’t stocked at all.

Very friendly helpful staff.

Convenient location, room amenities and size

For the first room seemed in-process of being cleaned. The sink had soapy water filling the basin. The TP was sitting in the bedroom, the used roll still mounted next to the toilet. Tried to call front-office, but the in-room phone was disconnected, no power cable. The second room felt tired, cup holder in table next to chair was full of debris. Overall cleaning was disappointing

The location was close to major retailers including restaurants, shopping, etc.

The room smelled heavily of bleached. At first we thought it was coming from the bathroom, but found it was in one of the two bedrooms. It was so heavy that we questioned weather to report it to the front desk, but since we understood there were not other available suites available, we opened all the windows and slept in the other room.
