This was such a great hotel - from the price to the view to the staff and food, it was excellent.

Loved everything - no issues.

This is a first class resort. From the start the staff was friendly and will to get you whatever you wanted.. food was Excellent Always cooked to perfection.I would recommend this ballards Inn for your next vacation..

We spent two nights on Block Island for a wedding (at a different venue). Ballards was terrific. The room was very clean and comfortable with lots of shampoo/lotion, etc. The setting can't be beat - right on the beach - and a two minute walk from the ferry. I was concerned when we arrived because there was a live band and it was very loud, but the band stopped early and we couldn't hear the bar music in our room. Hotel staff was lovely. Only complaint - communication with the hotel is extremely difficult. Especially on a potential hurriciane weekend, it was very frustrating. Calling was to a voicemail box and emails went unreturned. Overall, highly recommend.

Great location with a private beach.

While our room was clean. The bathroom has definitely seen better days, we were missing a shower door, the “shower caddy” was old and gross. The shower head awful! As for the restaurant, food is so overpriced for bad quality frozen food. $34 for chicken tenders and a handful of French fries. Not to mention ALL the single use plastic they use for everything. They never answer the phone, and there is hardly anyone at reception. Bar and kitchen closed by 9 pm When we return, it won’t be at Ballards not for $600 per night That’s for sure!

Our room was at least clean and ok- however for the price we expected a clean modern bathroom , not one from the 1970’s with a missing shower door and a shower head that barely worked alone with some old nasty pool organizer in the corner . Not to mention the outrageous prices for horrible frozen food and terrible drinks. They are not very “green” plastic is used for everything- sad for such a small island all the single use plastic- wasteful. Our next visit we will definitely make a better choice especially for the $$

Amazing service at Ballards from Kessie and Lorena! Very attentive and kind to every guest. Definitely the place to visit when visiting Ballards on Block Island. Will most definitely be coming back!!!

Great service !! Can’t wait to come back. Good food and accommodations when we wanted to move closer to the water the employees were so willing to help move us. We had food and drinks all day. Can’t wait to come back.

Veljko was awesome! Our family of 4 had a great time here. And he was such a great help! We didn’t expect it to be family friendly here but it really was! Everyone was comfortable here and he made it fun.
