Great Location, beautiful lodge, has everything you need, full kitchen, lots of space, well designed, comfortable ev charging for lodge 17. Great fireplace. Nice helpful staff

Although the place was great! There is some place for improvement: the place was full of dog hairs, all over the place including the sofas and throws. One of the bathroom doors isn’t functioning and hard to move. Also the shower is half-open making the floor of the whole bathroom wet with each shower. I found 2 rusty screws lying around the deck- a real hazard. you should check which appliances are in each lodge, some of them have different coffee machines and kitchen appliances (we had a air fryer while our friends didn’t). The heating thermostat system was not explained in any of the info pages around the house.

If you have nervous dogs they may be affected by the gunfire/practices at the nearby garrison

Fantastic, quiet location. Excellent lodge design & layout. Quality fixtures & fittings.

Our only gripe would be limited kitchen storage for shopping. We had to keep most of it in bags as all cupboards full.

Lovely setting, the lodge was comfortable and had everything we needed for self catering. There are ample walks around the site, most are accessible for even the unfittest though the short walk back up the hill to the lodge was quite steep. Only took about 10 minutes to drive into Richmond

There was no view from Lodge 17 despite the blurb. Trees and bushes blocked all but a tiny bit of the beautiful view which was disappointing but the large number of rabbits and birds visiting us made up in some part for that. The beds are very comfortable but also very low which anyone with a disability might find difficult

Ideal location, peaceful yet close to a market centre.

Beds/sofa a little low for older people.
