Just a relaxing place

When I checked the first bed sheets were filthy and shower was dirty, refrigerator couldn’t close do to the overwhelming frozen ice coming from the freezer so they switched my room the second room I end up cleaning myself but after I got situated I couldn’t watch tv because they had locks on the channels but it was ok because I had my Roku device and the gentleman at the front desk asked me what did I want him to do about it. But what is concerning that the male employee confronted my husband asking him if he want to smoke in the room just cash app him some money because we didn’t pay a deposit and he can smoke all he wants to. The hotel was already smelling like smoke in the elevator and worse in the floor we stayed at. If the other hotels in the area wast booked I would’ve left with no hesitation. But what really put the icing on the cake was the roaches in the bathroom. I mean it from the bottom of my heart I will never stay at this hotel again. The staff members don’t care about the hotel. Choice hotel you need to do better with this hotel.

Staff were great. The walls and shower had gross stuff splattered on the walls.

Bathroom needs to be upgraded

When I arrived there was a Walmart shopping cart in the parking lot near the front door on the side of the building. When I stepped off the elevator on the third floor the carpet was very filthy and had pieces of trash right at the elevator door. I walked in my room and there was a bug on the floor I killed it with a napkin. The shower had mold around the seam and water was able to leak onto the bathroom floor also the sink overflow drain hole was also covered in mold. The light above the bed was not mounted properly anymore. I thought it was going to fall onto my head. The furniture needed to be dusted with some type of furniture oil it had splatter spots on the wood. The office chair was also dirty the mesh looked like some type of milk has spilled on it at least that's the appearance it gave we refuse to sit on it. My friend had another room and she went to borrow a broom from housekeeping we cleaned our rooms ourselves with our own cleaning supplies so I don't believe asking for another room would have been any better. The hallway smelled of water or some type of mildew on the first floor. I will say that the staff was very pleasant we were there for three days and the floors were never cleaned. Inside the elevator there was dirt until I mentioned it to the front desk and someone cleaned it out. Later I saw that the Walmart card was being used to transport bags of trash from the hotel to a dumpster I assume. My bed squeaked anytime you sat on it or moved during sleep .

Room smelled funny. Light in the shower wasn’t working. Couldn’t connect to the Wifi. Ac worked and shower was warm were the only reason I gave it two stars

The property its self wasn’t bad. The pool was closed during our stay. The showers could definitely use some cleaning..
