WAKAYA ECOLODGE

Good location, great staff. Nice resort to relax and enjoy.

Only spent one night there, but it was a beautiful place with spacious bungalows, and really nothing to complain about.

Saturday night there was some noise from neighbors. Nothing too bad that I couldn’t block out with earplugs.

Beautiful individual bungalows. Clean and comfy beds. Gorgeous setting, quiet at night, beautiful trees and gardens. Daytime there were noises from kids playing in the pool. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and friendly.

The lodge is a good half hour drive into town. Whilst they accommodate well for dieta food, there wasn't much option for me. It took some time and explaining that I'm not on a dieta anymore, but I normally don't eat certain foods. So for days I was presented with dry food, then got a couple of little packages of condiments. Room for improvement for people who eat dairy free and meat free.

Rooms are nice, spacious and clean.

Food wasn’t great and was quite overpriced. Location is nice for quiet, but not easy to access into town.

It was peaceful and the pool was nice.

It was in a slum and it didn’t feel safe to be alone at night.

It was a lovely stay. Friendly helpful staff. Very relaxing, thankyou.

What would have made the stay even better was more flexibility with food available which was very expensive for what was offered. The main thing was the instructions for staying were only in Spanish and not English which meant it is not so easy to make the most of being here if you only speak and understand English.
