BluZen

The property was really nice looking. The condo we stayed in was nice as well. The condo looked like it was cleaned in a rush. The tv in the guest room didn't work. I had to ask several times for it to be fixed & it wasn't fixed until the day before we left. The staff didn't want to give additional towels either. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Had one of the best massages at the spa on sight.

Our stay at Bkue Zen was fantastic. The staff are all amazing. The rooms and pools are great! The shuttle to the south part of the island is easy and the captains have a good time! We are at both restaurants and the food was good. Happy hour is a bonus!

Beautiful property but location and transportation options are a huge con with this hotel. The North Side is completely isolated from the rest of Caye Caulker. Resort needs to hold an abundance of golf carts to accommodate guests as transportation to and from the hotel is extremely limited. Wasn't able to rent golf carts nor bikes for our families to explore. Everything was gone by 7am and they do not allow reservations. We made the sweaty walk over to Happy Lobster on the North Side only to find the gate locked and nobody there in spite the hours clearly saying open. Ferry runs throughout the day but if you miss one, it could be another 2 hours before the next one goes out. Property is amazing but the location is not convenient at all.

It was a great get-a-way. I look forward to my next visit.

Beautiful!

BluZen is a gorgeous property. The unit was overlooking the ocean, clean and full of kitchen items. The only downside is the tub did not plug. We were not able to use the bathtub and the tv internet didn’t work great but we didn’t come to watch tv. When we were there, the resort was basically empty. There were days when we had the pool to ourselves. Very quiet and calm-zen! You could ferry over to south caye caulker at any time so you had access to get around easily. The bad part was the sargassum. We booked BluZen because of the man made beach and hammocks over the water. That was no use to us. The sea weed was so bad you couldn’t use the beach. The smell was really bad. I know it’s something that is difficult to control, but I feel like we couldn’t make use of other pools as much. The restaurants on property are just okay. The lotus was good for lunch but drinks weren’t great. Dinner was just okay and breakfast was okay. The fogota had better drinks but food just okay. We really liked the vibe there. There are lots of great restaurants nearby-however. You can rent a golf cart for 80 dollars a day but I recommend getting there early because they only have two to rent and they are first come first serve. They had fishing poles in the office, which would have been nice if they offered due to sargassum, but they said you had to book fishing tour to use them. Either way, it would have been nice to have been offered something since we couldn’t use beach or swim in ocean.

Very laid back, quiet with great views and staff at service as needed.

Beautiful property, warming staff gorgeous views to die for only thing I did not like is they would not let us take our Wings from therestaurant after we bought it!

The staff was amazing, food was good and the units are modern and spacious. The transportation to and from the village was nice as well. Many options if you do not want to stay on the North Caye Caulker. The sargassum was always raked and taken away but it did make it smell and there was so much. Also, the litter on the beach from job site next door was disappointing.
