Excellent stay

Great location, lovely place

Nice hotel, but a bit "twee". Comfortable rooms, modestly sized, with tea coffee hairdryer

The absence of staff. It was self- checkin, meaning nobody to greet you. It was self checkout too, so same thing. The breakfast was nice, but ALL vegan apart from the Welsh breakfast. It was served in the attached cafe, though. This meant that most fellow diners were walking in off the street, and this included quite a lot of loud raucus wild water canoe staff. It felt more like a friends reunion, and we were the interlopers. Serving breakfast til 10am, while making the checkout time also 10am, is pathetic and unpractical. I happened to be looking at the time when there was a knock on the room door. It was 10am TO THE SECOND, and we were reminded that it was checkout time. As checking time is 3pm, is there any need to have 5 hours to clean a couple of rooms? ...ridiculous!

Amazing location - clean modern room - tasty breakfast

Large room which was nicely decorated. Hot shower. It was great having a key pad to access the room rather than having to carry a (card) key. Breakfast in the café was excellent but would have liked the option for both fruit, yoghurt and granola as well as a cooked breakfast rather than either or. At breakfast, there was a lovely buzz in the café. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Centrally located for easy access to places for dinner. 24 hour parking in the East car park was close and reasonably priced.

The shower was small and there was nowhere to put the soap dish.

Really good location. Nicely decorated room. We managed to time our parking so we got the free hour outside the hotel and able to stay overnight. Easy check-in and a really filling breakfast

Amazing view

I've never written a bad review before, but there were quite a few issues. The biggest issue was that they were giving my son something that contained egg despite me saying he had an egg allergy. Even though the girl serving us was convincing us, it had no egg. I wasn't convinced and asked to look at the package, and it did contain egg. The shower didn't work at all. It's just a pretty awful experience The only good thing was that the view was amazing They had promised to get back to us about our issues but never did

Location really good, food and room excellent

Not being able to get to the seating area late afternoon, always closed
