Lumbini Garden Lodge

The owner was very lovely and nice to chat to. The location was perfect for visiting the temples and very affordable.

The bed linen was old and shabby. The bathroom had a leak making the bathroom floor constantly wet. The temperature was 35 degrees and we only had a fan in the room. We were told after we checked out that you pay extra for AC. I spent all night itching with the bed linen and only slept 2 hours with the heat combined. When I did wake up I was covered in bites that looked different to mosquito bites... I finally fell asleep and was woken by the staff screaming and shouting at each other from opposite sides of the building and roster out the back at a very early hour . No respect for guests sleeping. We stayed one night and left to find another hotel. All my years traveling I have never only stayed one night and left.

Bathroom size was small.

Good stay for a family. The hotel staff were also family, very good. Food facilities are not available at the stay but we have multiple options nearby.
