The hotel was rundown and very dirty. The bedspread had stains on it, the bathroom window had a piece of wood in the track for security’, 😱, the whole place looked like it was falling apart. The only redeeming thing was that the man checking us in was very sweet. He seemed genuinely upset when we cancelled our entire reservation shortly after checking in. He wanted to know what was wrong. We didn’t have the heart to tell that EVERYTHING was wrong! I genuinely felt bad for him and his hotel. It looks like it once was a cool and happening place. It is no longer either of those things. Next time I will read the reviews before I book a hotel! Lesson learned the hard way!!

Trashy and the tv remote slaws broken

Sadly nothing. I did pay a for a cheap motel but this Desert Lodge is the most dilapidate motel I’ve ever encountered.

I was checked in to a room that still hadn’t been cleaned from the previous occupent and to open a door full of empty drinks on the floor and a bed that was part of the party was terrible. I was given an other room which the fire alarm detector was chirping because it needed a battery. I told the front desk to get some batteries to the room to fix it. I notice that the indoor lock does not work and there so I couldn’t lock myself in. Also there was no tv remote. The last 2 issues I didn’t complain about because I didn’t want to wait any longer for them to fix all the issues. Also they had no sign to decline room service, which I didn’t trust this motel at this point to come in my room when I’m not there. Sure enough 2 days later my room is wide open with people cleaning. I had told the cleaning lady the day before I did not want my room cleaned. I’m sure she’s a nice lady and works hard so I politely asked her again to just leave my room alone. I will never come this place again!!! The grounds are disgusting with stray cats running around and being fead by strangers. Oh also ice machine didn’t work and probably never did. It’s the Desert! It’s Hot and your suppose to be a hotel?! Why no ICE?!!Wtf?

Great, affordable option in Palm Springs. Staff at the front desk was very nice, room was clean and had all the basics needed. Location was safe and convenient, I would recommend if you're passing through the area and don't want to break the bank.

The facilities were a little outdated but fit the retro vibe in Palm Springs. You get what you pay for and this is a good value for the money.

It is a retro style hotel, which I like The bed was comfortable and there is fridge and microwave. The pool looked good inviting but it was too cold for swimming It’s about 20-30 minutes walk to downtown and about 10 minutes drive to the airport The cleaning lady was very friendly and did a good job, but often only starts work about 2.30 pm so early check-in is probably impossible.

This place is horrible. The first room they gave me haven't been cleaned. The 2nd was clean appearing but no remote (they taped one together) no smoke alarms. Missing light cover. Exposed electrical outlets. A roach on the ceiling. Piled up trach on the property. Upon check in the fact that the hot tub was non functional and the ice machine was down. There was one room sealed off by the County Sheriff. Broken windows. I paid over $100 dollars a night. For this NEVER STAY HERE. If i could use minus numbers I would. Owners lived on site. Spotless Range Rover and Lexus out frount.

The room was dirty. Plumbing was broken. Room AC was turned off when entering and took hours to cool off the space. Bedding was stained. After we checked in, the main office closed so we couldn't get assistance with anything. Check in was friendly and would had rated higher if staff were available.
