The location is good

Booked room for 134$, 3 days later, I checked the bank statement, and I have been charged 221$ without any explanation. I'm trying to reach the property for 3 days in a row to clarify overcharging, but it's mission impossible.

The paint smell which I understand it cuz of all the rooms being redone and the pool was very cloudy and looked kinda green

Bed was comfortable. Overall the room served the purpose of a place to sleep overnight. Breakfast was what I expected, sans fresh fruit.

General hall cleanliness--painting was still ongoing, and I walked on a hall length dropcloth. Later, the hallway was still untidy. Front desk announced my room number out loud. Tables and nightstands were obviously worn and damaged. One charging unit on one nightstand didn't work. Tile work in the bathroom was poorly installed, with gaps and extra caulk visible. I've stayed at a Microtel in the past and didn't expect luxury. I was disappointed.
