Baymont by Wyndham Chelsea

Clean room, good location, not too far from Ann Arbor if you have to visit your child there when all hotels near UMich are not available or too expensive.

May be more protein for breakfast!

Torn curtains not enough towels four people in one room and they only give you two towels

Rooms were sub par for the price. Breakfast was advertised and didn't meet expectations.

This property was an easy find and a great location.

The bed was too hard and made my arthritis bad

Decent price, well maintained, clean, friendly front desk person. Easy to adjust room air/heat. Shower and bathroom was nice. Ironing board and Iron were clean and worked well. Big bathroom counter. Plenty of parking, bright lights at night. We needed additional towels because we had 3 people, and the front desk helped. We were in around 10pm and out by 10am. We didn't turn on the TV or use the pool, etc. We have stayed at many very comparable hotels in this price range, and this was a really good hotel, I think the breakfast was very very overrated in the reviews and ratings here.

The breakfast was actually a little lame. In the past year alone, I have stayed at 20+ similar hotels from coast to coast. All in this price range and very comparable in all regards. This wasn't the worst breakfast of those stays, but it was definitely mid to lower end. There was a toaster, some bagels/bread, a waffle maker, 4 or 5 cereal options, some packaged muffins hot chocolate, I think oatmeal, a few bananas/apples. Basic milk OJ and drinks, hard boiled eggs in the fridge. This is from memory, so I might have missed some minor items. there was noting warm, most comparable places will at least have warm eggs. Better breakfasts at comparable places will have everything this place had plus have warm eggs, hash-browns, sausage, pancakes.

Would be improved if At each bathroom had at least one towel track. and the breakfast were sufficient”. b A bench or seat near the front door would help those for those who are disabled or elderly
