Wingate by Wyndham Uniontown

When we arrived i was told that my reservation was canceled and that they were sold out. They said they tried to call me but I had been driving all day to get there so I did not get the call and no message was left for me. They said everything in town was sold out and they could cancel someone else's reservation to give me a room for almost double the price I had booked it for online. I feel like this was a scam but had to take it because we drove 8 hours to get there and my mom had fallen near a waterfall and was muddy and sore :(

Location was convenient for us and the staff were friendly.

Apparently there was a maintenance issue that we were unaware of that was fixed while we were away from the room. We arrived to find our room had not been cleaned and the bathroom was quite dirty from the maintenance crew. We had to ask the front desk three times to at least clean the bathroom and empty the trash. The breakfast selection was good, however, the staff had a difficult time keeping the breakfast items stocked. So you had to wait to eat and some items were never restocked ( bagels. Danish)

Everything was great

Very limited selection for breakfast. Not enough towels and pillows in room. Lots of cracked windows.

Staff was friendly. Prior to our arrival the ceiling had leaked and floor was wet on far side of bed. Hotel was clean but needed repairs. Slept well though.

Breakfast was healthy, last day went down on Sunday, they were out of everything but did come back and they had refilled. Staff was pleasant but not informed about ac and phone. No instructions in room on calling desk and if dialed 0 no one answered. Water in bath tub dripped couldn't shut off. No instuctions on tv. No pen or paper. They window blinds were really easy and amazing!
