The whole place. Garbage from ceiling on floor. Pieces of ceiling missing throughout. Very very gross

After being at this resort, I would not return due to the perceived disrespect I had from the HOA office. We had discovered quickly that there were items not provided which normally would be but we dealt without them. I contacted the office to let them know that there was an issue with the dryer (It took 3 hours to dry a load of clothes.) It's their electricity but they needed to know there was a problem. In the kitchen, the pots and pans were plentiful but there was not a single bowl which could be used for any mixing even though there was a hand held mixer. I guess we were supposed to mix in a cooking pot? There were no serving types of bowls either. I felt that this was something that they needed to know was an issue for a group planning to do even minimal meal prep. When I notified the office person of these and a few other suggestions, I felt that the attitude was very disrespectful as in "don't bother me with your problems." When I questioned the number of dishwasher pods, she asked, "Didn't you get the starter kit?" Yes I did but I did not want to purchase a container of pods for one or two when I do not have a dishwasher to use them with.. They did bring us some more pods so they get credit for that. The unit was spacious, clean and comfortable but the response I had to the questions and comments left me with a negative feeling about the resort. The check-in and departure was especially easy as it was done at the hotel so early or late could be accommodated.

Interesting place, not a typical hotel. Probably was pretty great when it was new decades ago. Beds were ok.

A very basic room. It was ok for a quick overnight. Decent value.

Easy access

The road into the property was full of potholes. The toilet was very low and hard to navigate. There was no functional ice machine available to us. The housekeeper was kind enough to get us ice.

Location was perfect (plus the lake being over the hill helped)

The staff were rude and seemed annoyed.

This property is in dire need of renovation and maintenance. The drive and parking lot are full of potholes, the dishwasher and stove are literally from the 90s and the cabinets are ancient. Decks need pressure washing and there's ceiling stains and other water damage that has never been corrected in the unit. Aside from the sad appearance, the unit was clean and well stocked. Lawn mowing on the golf course just outside the window starts at 5am so don't expect to sleep past that. No locks on sliding doors work and a piece of wood is substituted as a lock. This property unfortunately also has no lake access, sidewalks or anywhere to take a walk except on the golf course.
