The property was clean and smelled great! The location was close to a variety of restaurants and shopping. The staff was extremely helpful and made our stay very enjoyable—the bartender, Vanessa was super cool!

I was beyond impressed with the entire team at the Aloft Harbison. As a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador, I travel a lot and stay at hotels across the Marriott portfolio, and I can honestly say the staff here treat you better than the Ritz or any other you could stay at. My family and I were in town for USC graduation ceremony and we would stay here again. Austin and India at the front desk were amazing and true southern hospitality. They made our stay fabulous, and helped take care of a reservation issue that could have really impacted our travel plans. There was a car show next door on Saturday that we walked over to see. Played a few games of pool in the lobby, had a couple of drinks at the bar. The location is convenient to the movie theater, shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. Rooms were clean and well maintained.

I had an absolutely horrific experience at the Aloft Columbia Harbison. I arrived just before midnight to check in for a reservation my husband had made under his name, with me explicitly listed as an added guest. Despite being a registered guest, the front desk agent, Sam, refused to check me in because I did not have the physical card used for the booking—a requirement that was never stated in the reservation contract. Sam called the manager, Austin, who showed zero flexibility or concern for the situation. They insisted I call my husband to fill out a form, which was impossible as he was already asleep. The staff displayed a shocking lack of empathy. Knowing their decision meant I would likely have to sleep in my car, they still refused to help. To make a degrading situation even worse, they wouldn't even allow me to use the restroom. This was hands-down the most unprofessional and unkind treatment I have ever received at a hotel. I would strongly advise staying elsewhere.
