Brimslóð Atelier Guesthouse

The view from the commons area where meals are served is beautiful and overlooks the Sea. The staff was very helpful with accommodating me with Gluten Free meal options.

Our room was the family room with side Sea View which if you stood at the foot of the bed and looked at an angle you could see a bit of ocean otherwise you were looking at buildings. The room was a bit stark even by Iceland standards and the ceiling chandelier mounting was hanging loose from the ceiling with lights askew. You had to leave the room and walk in the weather to get to the commons area.

Tutto. La posizione: la nostra stanza affacciava direttamente sull’oceano ed è stato tutto perfetto. L’accoglienza: abbiamo alloggiato qui durante il nostro viaggio di nozze ed è stata una, sé non la più bella struttura dove siamo stati. La proprietaria con le sue collaboratrici sono state gentilissime e davvero dolci con noi. Ci ha accolti con un biglietto di auguri e due pezzi di torta tipica del matrimonio islandese. La cena poi, un’esperienza incedibile, abbiamo cenato insieme a gli altri ospiti della struttura, tutti nella stessa tavolata, tre portare buonissime cucinate da lei al momento. Stra consigliatissimo se volete un esperienza unica da poter ricordare e raccontare negli anni!

Welcoming guesthouse. Right on the coast with amazing views. Lovely breakfast and superb evening meal. Sad we only stayed one night.
