This place is special. The lovely hosts could not do enough for us. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best stay, and gave us brilliant recommendations for authentic restaurants/ places to visit. The house is beautiful and has a real family feel to it. It’s a peaceful place to be- you’d never know it was so close to the busy city centre. Thank you Susana and Alberto, we look forward to returning.

The bed was super comfortable, the room very clean and the bathroom has everything you could ask for. We received a very warm welcome. Thanks to Susana for making our stay memorable and all the tips and recommendations :)

Nothing really

Small but atmospheric hotel in the excellent location — not too close to the crowd but close enough for everything to be reachable by foot. Beautiful rooms and exceptional stuff. Would definitely stay again!

Special mention to the wonderful Susana who was the best host we have ever had. She shared so many wonderful tips and recommendations of the local area and went above and beyond to make our honeymoon stay extra special. We were upgraded to a very romantic room, beautifully decorated and treated with a bottle of delicious Portuguese sparkling wine. As soon as we arrived we were also treated to a tasting of some amazing Port wines by the pool. The location is amazing, close to lots of incredible restaurants and shops. Amenities amazing, loved the pool, the white fluffy robes and the huge comfy bed. The accomodation is so peaceful, once inside you feel like you are in a little oasis. We really had the most amazing stay here and hope we are able to come back again in future. It was the best way to kick start our honeymoon. Thank you Susana for making us feel so welcome and special!

A totally gorgeous hotel - genuinely cannot fault our stay! Susana and Alberto were such welcoming hosts who went above and beyond with recommendations! Room was lovely - super clean and modern, but still with real charm. The hotel is in a perfect location, with lots of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby, and just a short walk into the centre of Porto. Will absolutely be back!

Nothing!

This property far outweighed our expectations. We chose the location due to it being out of the busy, noisy town district. It was only a ten minute walk into the main town and less to the better restaurants. The room was lovely and cleaned daily and the plus side was a welcoming pool. Nice to chill in the afternoon or early evening. But the best thing of all was the staff. Suzana went above and beyond to make our stay a real treat. She helped to plan some great day excursions and told us the best restaurants visit and sites to see. Her daily check-ins with us helped to plan our week. I’m so glad she advised a day trip to the beach and it was well worth the train journey to Guimaraes. A wonderful city with so much to see and do but this hotel was without doubt the main reason for our 5 star stay.
