La Badia

Nice quiet country location next to an interesting architectural monument which is currently being restored.Some hiking trails seem to leave from the top of the ravine, but we did not follow them. Clean air and shower with hot water, not luke warm as elsewhere on the island. Owner was very helpful and warm, Very nice view from the balcony Coffee was great and we did end up using the kitchen since it was hard to find anything other than pizza or pasta and we were sick of this on the 6th day of our journey.

massina in general is pretty run down. neither the neighborhood nor the ciry feel like holiday locations, but if you have to stay on the area this is good option. Perhaps once the monument is restored it will feel more touristy. There is a bit too much furniture in the room, as it is trying to accommodate the maximal number of guests I guess, but the interior would have felt more hospitable if there were fewer beds, and without the wardrobe which made access to the terrace a bit of a squeeze. I would suggest to the owner to try to rearrange the furniture in some way.

Unkompliziert einzuchecken. Wir waren auf der Durchreise nach Palermo. Liegt ein bischen außerhalb und ist sehr ruhige Gegend. Die Gemeindschaftsküche hat das Notwendigste was man für kleine Mahlzeiten braucht.

Das Zimmer ist sehr klein. Man muß externe Toilette benutzen, über Treppen erreichbar, gehört aber zu dem Zimmer und man hat eigenen Schlüssel dafür. War aber jetzt kein großes Problem für mich.

Joli B&B pour faire une pause tranquille à Messine. La cuisine et la salle à manger partagées sont agréables et bien équipées. Il y a en outre une grande terrasse pour s'installer dehors. Le propriétaire est très sympathique.

Ruhige Lage, super einfacher Check-In, Parkplatz vor der Tür, alles was man braucht war da, Küche zum verwenden und Terrasse zum draußen sitzen, würde ich jederzeit weiter empfehlen!
