Simonton Court Historic Inn & Cottages

After several trips to Key West this was our first stay at Simonton Court. We enjoyed this property very much. Location was excellent. The property itself is beautiful. Very lush, quiet and serene. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the main pool which we thoroughly enjoyed. All of the staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast is typical continental, nothing special although the waffle was pretty good. We will definitely return.

I love staying at the Simonton Court. The Staff were welcoming and the facilities were beautiful. It was within walking distance to Duval Street and the Key West Theater. I would not hesitate to stay there again and have told all my friends and family how wonderful it is.

This is a wonderful property with an amazing staff and and amenities. Our suite was comfortable and spacious. The pools were warm and clean. Lots of spaces to gather with friends. We will definitely come back to this place when we visit again.

Despite living in Florida for almost 20 years, I'd never been to the keys. A bunch of us (adults) decided now was the time. 5 of our couples booked rooms at Simonton Court. It's EXACTLY what I think Key West should be. There are several buildings onsite, including a handful of single bungalows. Many of the buildings had their own pools, which was killer. Our party had a variety of rooms, some with queen beds, one with a king and we had a suite. All the rooms had a balcony or a large outdoor deck, some covered, some not. Our suite was super nice with a living area, kitchen and queen bed in the loft (watch your head). It had huge ceilings and big triangular windows to let in light and give us a view of the trees. It's ground floor and we had a sitting area with ceiling fans right outside our door. 4 of our couples were in the same building and we spent a lot of time in the building's private pool. It was the perfect spot for an early morning swim or a place to gather after we'd all explored the town in different ways. The pool towels were nice and plush too. The property has all kinds of bushes and trees and feels like it's own little world. There's a central pool for those that don't have one at their buildings. There's a breakfast and bar area by the pool where most spent their mornings. I really like the old world feel of the place....it's all historic buildings with weathered finishes, exposed beams and whatnot. Perfect. If you want a modern experience, skip this place. Skip Key West..... The staff was great. We had a problem with our coffee maker and our safe. I walked to the desk to let them know and the guy they sent practically beat me to our suite. My problems were quickly sorted. The ladies who did breakfast, the front desk staff, all of them were super friendly. Even the places pool cat was friendly. This place was perfect. All in our party thought the same. We're already planning our trip for next year.

We have stayed here previously and totally enjoyed so decided to return for a few days. It is in a great location, just off Duval where all the action is but away from the noise. Our room had a cute porch with 2 chairs and a small table , it was screened from the street with vegetation so a great place to relax. Each room is different and exceedingly clean, equipped with a coffeemaker, fridge and selection of snacks and beverages for purchase. Importantly it also has great water pressure and abundant hot water! Don’t miss the included breakfast, the waffles are special;, French toast choices of cereal ,yogurt, multiple kinds of toast and fresh juices too. The staff is friendly and anxious to make your stay perfect. The rates are reasonable but the quality and care is luxury. We will certainly return to Key West ….and will stay at Simonton.
