Not immediately obvious how to get into the property. Had to walk almost the whole way around the (large) building from the car park, passing two entrances that were locked, before finally finding a third that was open, leading directly into the public bar

Clean comfortable room, comfy bed, decent en suite with a good shower. Staff were very friendly. Several vegan meal choices and vegan breakfast available. Newish bar and restaurant area was pleasant and a very nice garden. Massive car park. Hotel location was great for getting around the island. Very good value for money.

Obviously the place caters for families but I’m not a fan of kids being allowed to wander and run around bar/restaurants unsupervised. That’s down to their parents though, kids will be kids and I don’t blame them. Just my own view that kids in public bars should be supervised and if they want to run around should be in the well appointed garden and play area, especially when the weather is as nice as it was.
