We like this quiet location, the lake view, security, the kayak. Would be nice if the pool a bit bigger. Due to the slope the parking arrangement is a bit too narrow, the car door can swing and hit other car. The handling of septic tank stick should be more sanitized.

Room was clean and everything worked. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Good location as well.

over all good place

First of all the check in lady never gave us a run down about the motel its self. And the toilet was not on tight it moved when we would get on it, bad! Also I the shower on ceiling I believe it’s mold and for the guest that is so very bad and with me I have asthma and a heart condition, so someone needs to look at each room. But the view was spectacular! Not happy with this place

This retro motel is nicely located just outside the bustle of the village. The private beach and pool really gave it a nice resort feel. The outdoor common areas are really nice. The rooms are a bit sparse, and the property could use some upgrades, but it was a great deal for the money. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely come back.

Clean rooms a bit older property lots of bees!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at this resort for the labor day weekend. Check-in was a breeze and the office staff were quite friendly. There was ample parking within the resort. The room was clean but from reading the past guest reviews, I made sure to bring slippers because the floors were indeed grimy / sticky (!) and could definitely use a good scrubbing. The bathroom definitely needs some renovation or updates. The bathroom exhaust in the room we stayed at was LOUD and there was no way to turn it off unless the bathroom light was off as well. Couldn’t figure out the AC as well but it was comfortable enough in the room. The bed was ok with clean sheets and pillows. Room service was not done during our short stay so can’t say how often they do this if you stayed longer. The food they served by the pool was pretty good and affordable. All in all, it was a pretty decent stay due to the location a as it was not loud or crowded like the downtown area, the resort was clean and they had their own private beach which we didn’t use anyway. The lake was nice so definitely get a room with a view.
