Casonas de Marengo

Beautiful location. Quite a mission to get to but amazing views and surrounding gardens. The bed was huge and comfortable.

The fridge was noisy and because there’s no door between the bedroom and kitchen I turned it down when trying to sleep and then the freezer part melted and leaked on the floor which we had to clean up. Being quite high up it was quite cold in the evenings so we put the heaters on but they weren’t that effective. The rooms were large and the lights weren’t very bright, could do with a couple of big lamps in the rooms to brighten it up and make it more cosy. The pool wasn’t clean so we couldn’t use it. We didn’t see an owner or agent, everything was done remotely. We read in reviews that there was a water filter on site but didn’t know if this was still there as nobody showed us around.

Sehr schöne ruhige Unterkunft in toller Lage mit Blick auf den Teide.

Die Küchenausstattung könnte verbessert werden. Wenig Geschirr, keine Salatschüssel etc. Bei kaltem Wetter so wie wir es erlebt haben ist die kleine Heizung und die Bettdecke nicht ausreichend. Hier wären zusätzliche Wärme Decken hilfreich.

Il panorama e’ l’unica cosa che merita.

Tutto, l’ appartamento era praticamente in mezzo ad una montagna, per arrivarci salite scomodissime da poter fare solo in macchina e con attenzione a non giocarsi la frizione, ma la cosa peggiore di questo appartamento è la pulizia. E’ di un sudiciume per cui non ci ritornerei MAI! Ragnatele, e quindi ragni giganti e vermi di qualsiasi specie OVUNQUE! E’ stato un incubo! Improvvisamente la prima sera è andata via la luce, che siamo riusciti a ripristinare grazie ad un altro ospite dell appartamento accanto che era elettricista. La reception è a più di un’ora di strada dall appartamento quindi qualsiasi problema non possono risolverlo nell immediato. La tv non funzionava, l’ho comunicato ma nessuno l’ha sistemata (nello specifico faceva contatto il cavo dell antenna), la lavatrice è esterna in una zona lavanderia piena di gatti e tutta sporca! Insomma è stato un vero incubo, considerando che sono incinta e avevo con me Tre bambine terrorizzate dai ragni e vermi che abbiamo trovato in casa. Sporcizia e polvere a livelli estremi! Sono state tre notti da incubo. Mai più!

El entorno verde con mucha vegetacion

El acceso, una cuesta muy larga y pronunciada, el acceso a las llaves un poco lioso, habian muchas arañas y hormigas dentro de la casa, el frigo hacia mucho ruido y el termo electrico se apagaba aveces solo saltando los plomos, poca iluminacion

Beautiful house in traditional style with wooden floors, ceilings and shutters. Outdoor swimming pool. Great view of Mount Teide. Kitchen well equipped. Plenty of hot water for showers. Hairdryer. Plenty of parking.

Bedding could have been more comfortable with a duvet rather than blankets. The lane from the front gate to the house was unlit so it was a bit daunting when we arrived at night.
