Everything was in walking distance

The room I stayed the tv barely work. The Ceiling was cracked and falling out .the house keepers let old lotion and shampoo that someone used. They need to get microwave in the rooms . Elevators are very slow

There was availability at a less expensive rate.

The old smelly carpet. The old rooms in need of upgrading. Long lines for check-in. Elevators that sound like death traps. Too cold or no air. Water in the shower didn’t stay one temperature. Only one working outlet in the entire room.

Location to Boardwalk Hall was good. Would’ve been better if it was on the whole on the boardwalk, but you can’t do anything about that now.

Check-in was absolutely abysmal disgraceful took 45 minutes to check in at times it was only one person than two people and a huge line bar was never open Restaurant partially like the lobby that you maintained the vintage look rooms were somewhat dated

Staff was nice, maintenance guy help us when our keys wasn’t working.

Room AC were only set to be at 64, room was hot 90% of the time the, and my boyfriend couldn’t sleep because it was to hot for him.

I’ve been staying here for several years now. It is overall well maintained with an excellent in house restaurant The Twenties that has great daily breakfast but sadly is now only open Thurs - Sat for dinner. Their dinners are excellent so definitely go if you can. The indoor pool is lovely with a large skylight but the fitness center is in need of a major upgrade-a lot of the equipment is over used and missing parts. I’m also very concerned that as they’re redoing rooms and floors it’s loosing its historical charm and art deco feel. The new rooms while still spacious feel very generic. All of the magical art deco style and furnishings seems gone. It really needs someone with vision to honor its past while refreshing. It’s still a great location steps to the main beach area and boardwalk and walking distance to Outlets.
