Hotel Gran Juquila Huatulco

Super friendly and helpful staff. Very nice room with balcony. Hot shower with great pressure. Very nice onsite restaurant, competitive pricing, great service and tasty dishes. Good AC in the room. Tour services onsite, good options and pickup was generally on time. Close to the public beach, Chedraui and walking distance to downtown and the peer. Beautiful pool at the hotel.

The view from the balcony (room 402) was overlooking the parking lot. May be a bit overpriced, but that is just my opinion.

This was a great deal for a great small hotel right behind a wonderful and relatively quiet and empty beach in Huatulco (you need to walk past a few private beach clubs to reach the public entrance to the beach)! The hotel itself is very casual and very comfortable, and my room (the junior suite) was huge--it's really two rooms (though with no door in between them). Everything was very clean, and the air conditioning was excellent. It was also great to have a minifridge! And the location is terrific: walking distance to la Crucecita and to Chahue Bay, where I was able to swim easily despite reviews I had read stating that the currents were too strong there for swimming. I would definitely stay here again!

The only thing that could have made my stay better would have been blackout shades that block out all the light in the morning.

Very clean ground and room, comfortable bedding, good sized junior suite, fridge restocked daily as a nice touch, friendly and accommodating staff, assigned professional idriver to get you around at competitive taxi pricing, great walkable location to Chahue and Santa Cruz beaches, Santa Cruz, La Crececita

Abit noisy in the evenings

We went right before Christmas and decorations were beautiful. Staff was kind and helpful. Price was great and its a 4 minute walk to the beach. Was able to order food and was brought up to our living room area. Definitely coming back.

Location was close to the beach and within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Easy to catch a taxi to Centro shopping area.

The room & facilities didn’t meet expectations for the price we paid. Room was clean but lacked amenities. No in room coffee maker, worn out towels, room safe didn’t work properly, no hot water. The bar fridge was locked so we couldn’t even keep our water or other beverages cold. When I asked about the fridge I was told “it wasn’t included in the rate I paid.”

Enjoyed our stay! Comfy bed, spacious room, refrigerator and coffee! Water provided daily! Our maid did an excellent job at keeping our room tidy. Food was good, staff very helpful, even with my lousy Spanish! We will return!

Only thing that needs a bit of improvement/ the pool chemicals/ are off! Pool was a bit cloudy. Wish they had a sun area on the roof! The pool gets very little sun, as it’s blocked by the buildings.

Great location. Easy walk to beach and restaurants

Perfect location. Easy to walk to two beaches, town and the grocery store. The Fridge in the room.was great to have. Bed was comfortable and the whole place was immaculately clean. Pool refreshing after a day at the beach. Bonus, there is a hotel cat!
