Thermenhotel Apollo

Staff – 10/10 We arrived late due to travel delays, but the staff gave us a warm welcome and kindly postponed the check-in formalities so we could get some sleep. Their hospitality was exceptional throughout our stay. When they learned we would miss breakfast on our departure day, they prepared generous picnic bags for us to take away! Room – 9/10 Our chosen room type was old-fashioned (but not shabby!) in a charming and nostalgic way, spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable seating area, desk, TV, kitchenette with a large fridge, and a balcony with lovely views. Everything was clean and well maintained. The beds were just fine, although we would have preferred different pillows - a matter of personal preference rather than any fault of the hotel. The housekeeping team was especially thoughtful and ensured we had everything we needed, even when we chose to skip daily cleaning for environmental reasons. Facilities – 10/10 The outdoor pool was heated to the perfect temperature, while the indoor thermal pool felt wonderfully relaxing. The spa area is spread across two floors and includes a large sauna, two steam rooms, an infrared sauna, and a comfortable relaxation area where we enjoyed reading and unwinding. Very clean. Robes available in room. Breakfast/Dinner - 10/10 Breakfast was more than generous, with so much variety (almost everything imaginable) including cooked food, and the staff offered us a delicious crepe on one occasion. Dinner was just as lovely and very reasonably priced, there's something for everyone. The indoor dining area is lovely and modern, but we were happiest outdoor by the water fountain - it was idyllic. Location – 10/10 Everything we could need from such a holiday within walking distance. While a car is useful for reaching the hotel, this is true for much of the region. Free outdoor and underground parking.

Leaving this idyllic corner of Bavaria. That was the painful part, including because both guests and staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming and we had some nice conversations.

Zwei Pools draußen zum Schwimmen und drinnen mit warmen Wasser, sehr leckeres Essen mit Bedienung und kein Buffet, weisse Tischdecken und Stoffservietten, 4-fache Auswahl beim Halbpension Abendessen, perfekte Lage mit kurzem Weg zum Kurpark und Europa Therme

Matratze musste zu Beginn getauscht werden, weil sie zu weich war.

Das Thermalwasser im Haus, sehr gutes Frühstück, ganz tolles Personal!!!🙋🏻‍♀️🥰

Eine tolle Lage, das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen mit großen sauberen Zimmern, die viel Stauraum bieten. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet und im Restaurant kann Mann sehr gut essen. Für den Spabereich steht ein großes Angebot zur Verfügung. Ganz besonders möchte ich hervorheben: Das komplette Personal ist mehr als nur freundlich und zuvorkommend -> man fühlt sich sehr wohl!

Einziges Mango: wir hatten unterschiedlich hohe Matratzen.

Auch das glutenfreie Essen war kein Problem
