Villas Mayaluum Cozumel

Spacious very comfortable apartment. We were on the ground floor so didnt get a view but it was great to be right next to super pool that we had to ourselves almost the whole time. Great for a cool off swim when we got back from days out diving and visiting the beaches.

All good. We rented a car so we could explore the island and get to town more easily.

location was good. great place to stay. a little out of the way from the main area. but it was where i needed to be to enjoy the quiet area.

Everything about Villas Mayaluum was pretty wonderful. The location was great. We were easily able to get a taxi to get anywhere we wanted to go. The pool was wonderful, I used it everyday. The garden areas were nice and our terrace was comfortable and pretty. The beach just across the road was rocky but once you got in the swimming and snorkeling was great. Everything in the apartment was very clean, it was well stocked, and it was very spacious and comfortable. The beds were great. It was hot but the AC units worked fast and very well keeping us very comfortable. We liked the artwork on the walls. We appreciated the bottled water. Loved the restaurant next door! We appreciated that the property was accessed through combination gates - it made us feel very safe. We've already recommended Villas Mayaluum to several other people considering going to Cozumel.

We were only disappointed to never have the opportunity to meet Cecilia. The reviews we had read all spoke so highly of her that we looked forward to meeting her but in our week being there we never did! Maybe next time!

Big and spacious

Finish is a little tired

Very friendly hosts that respond to anything you need such as toiletries or kitchenware. They even helped us get a ride in town and find a pediatrician when we had a sick child. Very nicely kept big pool, huge spacious apartment with full working kitchen to cook. We really enjoyed our stay for a family that likes to cook. Tour operator across the street for doing dolphin swim, boat tours, snorkel tour, etc..

You will need to walk a little and get taxis to get to town but very doable. There are plenty of places to walk nearby including good restaurants and a tourist service across the street for boat and day tours. Might be a good place to get a rental car since parking is included. Restaurant prices in Cozumel are similar to USA prices. Kitchen also need might a few items but they will provide.

Great location: Walking distance to a pharmacy, grocery shops, restaurants and the cargo ferry (where you arrive when you come by car.) also close to the town and passenger ferry. Security The venue has a gate and passcode for entering and exiting the complex both on foot and by car. Private parking lot within the complex. Comfortable The apartment is spacious, great for families or groups. It had a dining area and island dividing the kitchen from the living room, outside patio, washer and dryer, basic kitchen utensils and drinking water fountain. The inside of the complex is beautiful with several other homes having hummingbird feeders and flowers. There are a couple of aromatics in a little garden outside. The unit has an outdated ac but it works. The showers, sinks and faucets had both hot and cold water. Kitchen is well equipped with microwave, stove top, pots, chopping board, cutlery, colander, coffee maker, blender, toaster, large fridge, pans, glass ware and ceramics.

We wish the kitchen had basic seasonings (Salt, pepper, sugar) and some pot holders. There’s ants, so beware of what you leave lying around. Not an invasion of ants but a it’s the tropics amount of ants.
