Q&C Hotel and Bar New Orleans, Autograph Collection

Where I stayed this Mardi Gras. Every time I visit Nola I try to stay somewhere new. This boutique hotel was cute & conveniently "slap dab in the middle" of the parade route. No matter which way I walked, I was 1 or 2 blocks from the parade. The bed was comfy, the staff was friendly. Small room but big enough for 2 people. There is no door on the shower so depending on the season, it may be chilly or pleasant. Have you stayed here? It's a Marriott Property.

I stay at the Q&C Hotel in NOLA at least once or twice per month while transiting for business. My arrivals are always met with amazing smiles and friendly conversation from Maryuri at the Front Desk and Ms. Tammy at the bar. I used to live a few block from the hotel for many years, and these two individuals are true representatives of what New Orleans character is all about.

The property was great location.

The toilet ran the whole time we stayed and we had to keep the top off the toilet the whole time so we could flush the toilet. The whole stay, which was 5 days, we had NO hot water in the shower. When we reported it to the front desk they gave us breakfast vouchers. However, when we went to use them, the breakfast was not available, they closed it early. The staff was rude and did nothing about the problems in the room.

Spent some days during Christmas here and considering the low nightly rates, it would be unfair to complain. The hotel is very well-located, just 5-10 mins from the French Quarter walking and away from the noise and craziness. The immediate area is reasonably safe though do exercise some caution. Our room was upgraded to a high-floor king, which was adequately sized, clean, and in good shape despite the old hotel. In general, the state of things was impressive. Breakfast for Bonvoy elites is very limited (a simple glass of juice, coffee, and a muffin is all you get) but service was very friendly. There was a distinct lack of staff during the holidays and the hotel was spread thin, but things sprung back into action afterwards and the dedication of the staff was pretty unanimous. This is a good value for the money but perhaps not at the level of some of the more luxurious Autograph properties, for sure.
