Hotel Zoe Fisherman's Wharf

Die Lage am Fisherman’s Wharf war ideal — viele Restaurants, Geschäfte und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Hotelgebäude macht von aussen einen modernen Eindruck, und das Personal an der Rezeption war zu Beginn freundlich.

Zimmer entsprach nicht den Bildern auf Booking: Die professionellen Fotos zeigten ein modernes, elegantes Hotel mit grosszügigen Bädern. Die Realität war ernüchternd — unser Zimmer wirkte deutlich abgenutzter und weniger gepflegt als dargestellt. Mangelnde Sauberkeit: Das Zimmer war bei Anreise nicht in dem hygienischen Zustand, den man von einem Hotel dieser Preisklasse erwarten darf — besonders kritisch mit einem 3 Monate alten Baby und einem 3-jährigen Kind. Stinkende Lüftungsanlage: Aus der Lüftung kam ein unangenehmer, beissender Geruch ins Zimmer, der die ganze Nacht über nicht wegging. Für unser Baby und Kleinkind war das gesundheitlich bedenklich. Da wir spät am Abend angekommen waren, mussten wir trotzdem eine Nacht in diesem Zustand übernachten — eine Suche nach einem Ersatzhotel war zu dieser Uhrzeit mit zwei Kleinkindern nicht mehr möglich. Wir haben dies Hotel und Booking bereits am 17.04.2026 gemeldet. Intransparente Abrechnung: Es wurden mehrere Beträge abgebucht (inkl. Kaution und nicht erklärte Zusatzbetrag). Bis heute fehlt uns eine Rückerstattung der Kaution. Verlorene Ferienzeit: Wir mussten mit zwei Kleinkindern mitten im Aufenthalt neue Hotels suchen. Da im Wharf nichts verfügbar war, mussten wir nach Union Square umziehen — eine Gegend, die wir wegen Tenderloin-Nähe bewusst vermeiden wollten. Zusätzliche Kosten durch teureres Ersatzhotel und Uber-Fahrten kamen dazu. Mehrfache Kontaktaufnahmen mit Hotel und Booking haben das Problem bisher nicht gelöst. Für eine Familie mit Kleinkindern absolut unakzeptabel.

Joi was amazing and made our trip to San Francisco an absolute delight. She was so knowledgeable of the area and helpful when we had questions. We will definitely be coming back!

I want to take a moment to recognize Roy Caspillan at the front desk — he truly made our family's stay unforgettable. From the moment we checked in, Roy went out of his way to make sure my family and I felt welcome and well taken care of. He was attentive, kind, and clearly passionate about making guests feel at home. Traveling with kids can be stressful, but Roy made everything feel effortless. He went above and beyond in ways that didn't go unnoticed, and his warmth made a real difference in our experience. It's rare to encounter someone who brings that level of genuine care to their work. Roy is a true asset to this hotel, and because of him, we'll absolutely be back. If you're staying here, you're in great hands. Also want to mention Diana too. She was so helpful, attentive and caring. Hotel Zoe is an amazing place to stay. Will definitely be back!

Convenient to the wharf

We didn’t get credit for the first night when our flight was cancelled. We felt we should have been compensated since it was out of our hands.
