Motel Claude

You get what you pay for. No frills accommodations ,just the basics. But then again thats all we needed. Only downside for us was the high cost of pet fee for our dog. $40.00 was much more than ive paid in the past at other places.

No ice both times we stayed. Otherwise no complaints.

This is a great spot. Check in was a breeze. Staff member was very friendly and efficient. Subway restaurant is conveniently onsite. The room was tastefully decorated and very clean. Motel Claude is a perfect mid-point stopover for trips between Nova Scotia and Ottawa at much better price and value for your money than what's available in Edmundston. We'll definitely be back.

Clean and efficient

The property was not well maintained. The entrance was not shoveled after the last snow storm, making it difficult to get in the room. The lock on the door was hard to unlock. The room itself was ok. The heat worked but we were unable to adjust the temperature since the control was broken. The second door to the hallway was unsafe. The door knob was so loose that anyone could have forced their way in. Overall it was very disappointing.

Not new but clean

Very clean and super nice staff! Got stuck in the area upon the highway closing from bad weather , was extremely happy with my stay here + very cost friendly.

Bad

Great room. Coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, tv,cable. Bed was noisy. Very clean. Close to highway, a little noisy. Puppy friendly. Reception was bilingual and friendly. Christmas decorations were amazing!
