Lantern Inn & Suites - Sarasota

I stay here regularly on work trips. Ping at the front counter always has a beautiful welcoming smile that just brightens the day. Rooms are always clean, comfy beds, and a hot shower. Overall just always a great stay. Look forward to the next time.

Renovated hotel with updated clean modern rooms. Very close to the airport. No food available on property but several nice restaurants nearby and a Racetrack station next door for coffee etc. They do have a Tiki bar on the property, but they do not serve any food. Be prepared for a large deposit for incidentals. A clean moderately priced hotel for a short stay.

The bed was comfortable

The rooms were clean but out dated furniture and decor Throw back to the 70s We had to give a security deposit and we couldn’t get it back until the manager went up to the room and examined it . I guess it passed inspection and he returned our deposit. I’ve never had that experience in a hotel. I thought it was very strange. Not sure what kind of characters they must routinely have as guests. We were desperate JetBlue canceled our flight last minute and we needed a place to stay at 11 o’clock at night. I will say the bed was comfortable place was clean served our needs in a pinch, Would not stay again.

Room was clean and neat and looked freshly renovated. Easy free parking with lots of close places to get food. Beds and pillows were clean and comfortable.

The room was too sterile, with no feeling of warmth or comfort. Needed a rug or carpet. Desperately needed double glazing and better noise insulation. Right at the end of the airport runway. Needed more flat space for cases or laying out your stuff
