SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Asheboro

Was clean, bed was comfortable, quiet for the most part.

The room felt very small.

Had an issue when we checked into our room. Went to speak with lady at desk and she changed our room.

When we checked into our room it smelled like smoke and faucet in bathtub couldn't be turned off. The drain in tub was broken. Rooms should be checked before putting guest in the room.

The property needs a sign where you are to turn up the hill

The staff was super nice at check-in. But we were supposed to be in a non-smoking room. When entering the room it smelled as if it had just been cleaned. But after being there a bit it smelled like someone had been smoking weed in the room. It also had a strong odor of weed beside us and when walking door the walk way.

I like the property is peaceful and quiet

This is a motel property that’s been upgraded as a Best Western. Front desk staff were nice. Decent hot buffet breakfast.

The two ladies manning the front desk were so friendly and helpful, Room was very clean, facilities were nice with a big grassy area in the back for walking the pups.

Let me start by saying the ladies in the office Monday thru Thursday we're super nice and its a hidden out the way quiet location.

The pool was filthy trash, leaves and bugs everywhere in the pool. No handicapped chair for pool and I was in a handicapped room but no ramp to get to the pool. The breakfast was absolutely disgusting. The sausage almost made me throw up. The lady their claimed it closed at 9 when clearly it says 9:30. The same lady who was also rude that was their Friday when we were checking out made more eggs and sausage. The eggs were powder. The sausage had a horrible after taste. The beds are metal underneath the mattress and are super loud every time you get on them. Also popcorn ceiling which is illegal to put in rooms now cause its dangerous.

The staff was wonderful. We had an issue with booking and the staff were quick to get things corrected for us. The room was okay. The room was clean for the most part. Towels could not be hung due to the fixtures half falling off the walls, shower curtain was old and dirty, as were the window curtains. The room had a good gap when shutting the door. The bed was very comfortable and the area around was quiet. We would stay again and hopefully they will continue remodeling to fix the small issues.

I called and said I wont arrive until 2am and they said that was fine. The hotel was nice beds were ok when moving you heard them other then that they were good. The staff were very kind. Will deffentily come here again on my way through to the Beach! One of the best hotels I have stayed at in North Carolina!
