Haley's Hotel

Lovely building. Useful location for Headingley cricket ground, especially after the previously booked hotel cancelled our booking to favour the ICC. Close to good amenities. Respectful and professional staff. Peaceful location.

Horribly hot and airless on the 2nd floor, whilst cool and airy on the ground floor. Couldn't cool the bedroom (a family room) down despite opening windows as far as the security closures would allow and have the 1 little fan on full blast all night.

Location and friendliness of staff

Very hot. Not the most clean. Mould in shower and cobwebs in room and an old tooth pick by side of the bed. Breakfast quite limited. Croissant wasn’t cooked properly. Apple juice very diluted. The room was extremely hot. Really could do with AC

Very friendly small hotel. I travelled alone and stayed in the single accommodation here which was small double and perfectly adequate for my needs . The atmosphere was like staying at a large house party ! Partly the Yorkshire way but guests acknowledged and made to feel very welcome at all times. Plenty of parking and perfectly located for a quick trip to the high street (2minutes ) if needed.

Staff were fabulous- very helpful

I didn't like the fact that a conference taking place in Leeds that week made the room prohibitively expensive. So value for money was very poor.

I love it’s quiet Location, the staff are lovely especially the lovely man who makes breakfast. Very clean and well appointed. Nice sheets and towels too.

As I have hip and knee problems a lift would be nice but I love the stair case with all its historic facts up it. Gives me something to read when I have to use crutches.

I liked absolutely everything: the charming building in a leafy street, tastefully decorated premises, very comfortable and clean room with all the necessities and some extras, the very good quality breakfast (cold options and hot options, all very tasty), the staff who went above and beyond. My single room was of a very generous size. The value-price is great too.

Nothing to dislike, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Will stay here again if I come to Leeds.

This may not be a high flying chain but this is a local hotel which makes me feel of how travel was when I was a kid. The hotel has character and the rooms are adequate and clean. Staff are excellent. My daughter studies in Leeds so I always use it when I visit as close to where she lives and parking is easy. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for decent hotel in Leeds
