Simply the best without a doubt. I have been visiting the Spread Eagle for some years now and feel so at home. The staff are wonderful as is the food. Accessible and easy to negotiate if you have a disability. Very good value for money, spotlessly clean and very comfortable rooms. Would highly recommend. My first choice for a little break with a wonderful spa.

I had a wonderful experience in the spa this afternoon. As a beauty therapist myself, I struggle to be able to unwind and relax when having treatments, however Liaya was able to deliver an amazing treatment for me. I feel totally relaxed and renewed. Thank you for a wonderful first experience. I will be back

Wonderful old building

My husband and I arrived for a two night stay immediately after our very busy wedding day, and were so happy to be here. Warm welcome, very helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to make us relaxed. Upgraded to a gorgeous 4 poster bed room (the Oak Room) and treated to some complimentary fizz with our dinner! All of the hotel staff were so polite and welcoming, the restaurant staff were excellent, and the food fantastic! We ate breakfast twice at the hotel, as well as 1 lunch and 1 dinner. Can’t fault any of the meals, very high quality food and quick service. The bar was quirky and a good range of drinks! We also made full use of the spa facilities and massage options. All facilities were very clean, high quality, and never too busy. Overall, a 5* stay and loved every moment! Can’t wait to return.
