Lovely hotel. Stayed in the old wing but it was charming and comfortable
Queued twenty minutes to check in. Room never really got up to a pleasant temperature. Pillows uncomfortable. But excellent gym, helpful staff, decent food.
Constant noise during night from storeroom housing boiler near my room was annoying.
The modern wing is very basic and feels like a premier inn. The original period property is very lovely and interesting though.

Business trip. Room in the newer wing of the hotel, sadly it’s looking dated. Restaurant is ok but not great at any means.
Excellent property stayed in the West wing which was very comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean< I used the health club facilities which had all the equipment you could need. Breakfast was very good
