Yellow Inn

We booked Yellow Inn for a student group stay, and it worked out really well for us. It’s a simple place, but everything you actually need is there and at a very reasonable price. The kitchen was well equipped, and the shared bathrooms were always clean. Check-in is self-service, but it was straightforward and clearly explained, so no issues at all. The host was also quick to respond and very helpful whenever we reached out. The location is great, close to the University and city centre, and the overall vibe is calm and quiet

I was looking for a place to stay for a short visit since I had to work in the area and I chose the Yellow Inn mainly because of the affordable price. Now I’d definitely come back because of the cozy atmosphere, the well-equipped kitchen, the clean bathrooms, and of course the super-friendly staff🫶🫶!! A huge THANK YOU to the whole team:))

Everything was perfect - if the machine accepted credit cards, twint, or paper cash (10.- or higher), I would have spent even more:))!!

Lage ist sehr sehr gut , Frühstück gibt es nicht aber das macht nichts aus ! Man hat so viel im Umfeld von bäck bis Supermarkt und direkt vor der Tür einen Asia Imbiss und der Rest am Restaurant oder Bars ist zu Fuss machbar :)

Im 2 Stock beim Wasch Raum vielleicht statt den kleinen alibert also so kästli mit kleinem Spiegel , auch vielleicht einen grossen Spiegel , für kleinere Leute wie mich besser weil man dann was sieht ;)

Alles war perfekt. Lage ist super, 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu der Altstadt. Zimmer sehr sauber und komfortabel, Ausstattung war alles top, es war alles da, was man brauchen kann. Check-in war einfach, Schlüssel habe ich ohne Probleme bekommen. Aber besonders gut war das Team. Markus ist super freundlich und nett! Hat immer schnell reagiert und geantwortet. Hat mir sehr schnell geholfen mit meinem Problem mit dem Gepäckschließfach draußen! Ich würde diese Unterkunft gerne weiterempfehlen und selbst wiederkommen! Vielen lieben Dank nochmal für alles!!

Propre en particulier les toilettes exceptionnelles , pratique, attentionnés. Merci!

Je suggère juste des rideaux plus épaisses pour cacher la lumière.. mais pas trop important

It was close to the hospital which I needed to go to each day.

I didn't now how to get into the building. I'm from out of the country and didn't realize that I had to submit identification online to check in. I thought it was a hotel type of facility and figured someone would be at the building. I had a lot of trouble figuring out how to get into the building. After doing the checkin and getting the Room # and code, I thought it would be a touch code and had to really look at the row of boxes by the door, realizing they were for each room. I entered the code but it didn't work and then put the code in a lower row, which worked, but didn't know how to open the box to get the room key. It was a challenge until I finally got the small black switch down that the box opened. Other than that issue, for the value the building was well laid out, very clean and I would stay there again.

Check-in was easy, and there was Wi-Fi available for guests before they even entered the building. I didn't have cell phone data in Switzerland, so that was helpful.
