Drove from Birmingham, AL to be told I didn't have a room after I had done a reservation.

The fact that I was not notified before hand

Didn’t stay. They didn’t have any rooms when I arrived so he canceled my reservation.

I wasn’t notified about no rooms available and had to drive around for more than hour to find a room.

The hotel manager was rude and disrespectful which resulted into an argument and I was asked to check out. I checked out two days early and the manager refused to give me a receipt to get my refund for the nights I didn’t stay. I had to call booking.com several times to get the situation resolved, filed a complaint on better business bureau, and disputed the transaction with my bank. I stayed at the location previously without any issues and the other property managers are nice. I will never stay here again.

Check in was real easy and quick the staff from front desk to house keeping was really nice to my family and others from what i could see during my stay

When we pulled into the lot, there were multiple cop cars and ambulances. I should’ve known then. But I thought maybe it was a medical emergency and decided to go ahead and keep my reservation. Now about the stay itself… The front desk guy didn’t say anything like hello etc. He just looked at his watch and said, “You’re just NOW getting here?!” I told him yes, that I had sent several messages through the booking.com app advising of the delay. And he said, “You can’t send a message. We don’t check the messages” I tried to apologize and he cut me off and said “ID please” Rude rude rude. Also, they advertise fully equipped kitchenette, including dishes. They even have posters up all over the hotel claiming this. But there’s nothing in the room at all. Which turned out fine, because the stove hood had chunks of paint and rust flaking off and falling onto the stove. The bathroom was gross. The bed was gross. The tub was gross. Non smoking property yet the entire place reeked of pot. I don’t have an issue with anyone smoking weed, but if I can’t smoke cigs in my room, weed should not be allowed in the room either. Then two women got into an argument outside my door, screaming about a guy they were fighting over. When I tried to let the desk person know…at 3am….a fight was happening…he said “AND?” We took a very short nap and just got back on the road. We didn’t shower or have “breakfast” (which is mainly just granola bars and packets of instant oatmeal). Literally just rolled out of bed and left. It was THAT BAD. And of COURSE they don’t care when you voice your concerns. They just want your money.

For the pay and location, this is good.
