Strong smoke smell in room though was supposed to be non-smoking!

Convenient location

My room wasn’t ready when I tried to check in after 4 pm. But my biggest issue is that I paid through booking.com and then was charged again at property. I have been overcharged by $370 and neither the property or booking.com will take responsibility and send me a refund although this has all been confirmed. I will not use booking.com ever again and I will not stay at this property again when I return due to this payment issue.

Location is good. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable.

I received a call the day before check-in. When asked, I said I wanted a room on the first floor and needed glasses/cups. The desk clerk apparently didn't receive that info and didn't even know her hotel. She assigned us a room that was supposedly on the first floor. We couldn't find it. It was on the second floor. There are no elevators!!! I'm somewhat handicapped and can't really do stairs. She gave us a room downstairs. No coffee pot and no glasses or cups. Had to go back to the lobby to get them. No Contiental breakfast as advertised. Shabby furniture. No place to sit and read. The only chair was stuffed in the "closet" area.

Location

Noise due to some construction. Small room size. Key cards frequently stopped working. I had to walk to lobby to enable.

A heavier blanket on the bed
