Extended Stay America Suites - Phoenix - Scottsdale - Old Town

Although I paid extra for an upgrade king with kitchenette, there was no coffee maker, no coffee or tea, no coffee cups, no plates, no utensils, no pans/pots, bed was too hard, only one small bar of soap, no moisturizer/cream, no pen & paper, no hair dryer...... just sooo BASIC !

The front desk clerks are very nice. The place is very old, so, as clean as it could be. The bed is on a rolling frame, but comfortable. Not close enough to feel safe to walk to old town at night, but, thats me. You have to go to office to get kitchen items. They ran out of a coffee maker for us, and, didn't get one until 8 at night the next night. The price is cheap and that is what you get. We would stay there again because good enough, just bring a coffee maker.

The location was just perfect. Easy access to downtown Scottsdale and close to the many many walking/biking paths across the city.

It was not a place you wanted to be other than for sleeping/cleaning yourself up. The room was dark and there was nothing at the hotel to make you want to be there... but that being said the location was so good, this was not a real problem.
