Instead of lying- telling the truth. The wifi went down so they couldn't process the optional payment we wanted to use and lied about it and were unprofessional.

I was out in a joint room, the next room over was vacant but I heard a male and a female voice, they were trying to look into my room through the joint room access door and these people were trying to unlatch the security lock. I had to reinforce the lock and door so they couldn't get in. I barely slept that night and I was very uncomfortable. I called the front desk but I had no luck contacting the overnight clerk. Then they had disconnected the cable in my room for about an hour then it came back on. I also work in the hospitality industry. I've worked overnight engineering for over 3 years and I'm familiar with who has access to the whole property if need be. There could only be 2 maybe 3 people who would have access and that could be night auditor, maintenance, and M.O.D if any major issue happens on property. The male and female that I heard doing so of this sounded a lot like the maintenance guy and a housekeeper. Why they would do something like this I have no clue. These people need to be relieved from their person's immediately. I spoke with the front desk agent in the morning upon check out but he gave me attitude and was very rude that I had brought up the matter. I asked him what was he going to do about the situation and I got no response other than him telling me to ask for a non jointed room the next time I stay. There won't be a next time. At least not at that location. I would really like to know the outcome of this situation and I would like to know what the upper level management is going to do so this and how I am going to be reimbursed. I have video as well.
