Best Western Plus Peoria

The breakfast was decent.

The elevator was not working so only way to get to our room on fourth floor was via stairs. I was charged $100 security deposit for any damages, told it would be reimbursed. It has not. The hotel is very, very dated.

The location

The elevator wasn't working, and the door of my room didn't close automatically. It had to be pushed closed, the room was dingy, some light bulbs were out, the shampoo bottle, conditioner, and soap was so so small, smaller than travel sizes, barely enough to wash my long hair. It smelled musty or moldy in the room and the stairwell (where I had to drag my bags upstairs). In the morning, no one was at the desk, and I had to phone the front desk 5 times before an employee showed up. I won't be staying there again.

It was clean and big room

Property was close to interstate and several nice restaurants

It wasn’t cheap & the amenities are old , dark , outdated

My husband has a broken leg and had to climb stairs because the elevator was down the whole time. The air unit didn’t work, the shower had mold all under the rim as well as the toilet wasn’t clean and stayed clogged up had to have it unclogged.

Good location easy to find

Broken elevator had to down size bed because hubbie is disabled and couldn’t walk upstairs

Room was large and clean Heating and cooling worked well. They provide on demand tv or you can use your own Netflix which I really liked. Breakfast was ok. Provided the basics plus eggs sausage and waffles.

300 deposit which they actually took out of your bank account instead of just putting a hold on it. Took 4 days to be put back in my account. Most all motels charge 50 dollar deposit

The location was great because of all the surrounding dining or shopping and a very quick trip over the river to the civic center. Side note, they did provide information that their elevator was under maintenance so was glad we were on first floor.

Pool area clean and was inside but not really heated enough to swim in.
