Best Western Plus Lafayette Hotel University Area

The breakfast was pretty good.

The staff was not friendly when we checked in. She acted like we were bothering her by checking in. The rooms are not carpeted. This is an issue cause there's nothing to dampen the noise throughout the hotel. I paid money so I could SLEEP. I got absolutely no sleep. We could hear EVERYTHING going on in the building.! Pretty sure the people above me where filming and episode of "My 600 lb Life". (We were on the 2nd floor, there's 3 floors) We heard every person that went down the hall, talked, went up and down the stairs, everyone's TV, traffic on the busy road outside of the building, twice someone tried to open our door in the middle of the night. We got NO rest and it did not feel like a safe environment. I needed to get ice and a drink. There was a sign for ice/vending just past the elevator. I went to find it and there was nothing. One sign pointed towards the stairs and the other pointed to the end of the hallway. I found no ice machine and no vending machines.

Cleanliness of room

It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It also had a pool that wasn’t too cold despite it being December. The guy at the front desk made my stay very welcome

The pillows sucked other than that no complaints
