Location was good.

Location was good. When we arrived their system was down and we left our bags and came back later in the evening. We purchased a twin room but were given a double and had to wait an hour whilst they made the room into a twin after a long exhausting day this was not ideal. The receptionist asked my name three times and then when I wrote my email address down proceeded to say a completely different name I’m unsure where she got the random name from when I had repeated myself three times. Listening when people are speaking is basic manners. The room itself is extremely odd everything is electric for example the light switches the shutter for the window and the AC which worked and didn’t work. This was frustrating as it became extremely hot without the AC and we had to open the window door which had no curtains so it was either unbearable heat or light into the room. The window itself was floor to ceiling so everyone from the street could see into the room. There were plugs next to the bed but no side table? So where they expected you to hang your phone or anything else I’m unsure on the floor or on the very small bed? Ironing board but no iron and no phone in the room? Tried to call them from the number online but it went through a call centre and then rang out also annoying. The floor was damaged in the room with scuffs and looked dirty. For the price I’ve never stayed in such a poorly equipped room with very uncomfortable heating and window design. Even if we were in the room just to sleep I could spend half the price for travel lodge and probably had a better sleep. Breakfast wasn’t great and when we went down at 9.45 she said I’m packing up at 10am so you have 15 mins. I’ve never stayed in a hotel where they don’t allow you to at least get your food and eat is slowly it wasn’t as though there was even a restaurant you had to eat in the reception?

The location is supreme; the apartment was very clean and its design very well thought, extremely comfortable

Location was great and easy to find, great view of the castle from our room.

Could add another mirror in the bathroom, hand held or small one on a stand to use as the mirror is set far back behind the sink and the only other mirror is behind the bedroom door.
