unique experience, amazing house and Michael is great host

The owner/manager was very helpful answering our questions, making recommendations, and he came right away when we had a mix-up with the keys. The apartment itself had great classic 1910/1920s (?) architecture / furniture./ decor which we loved. Felt like we were in a PBS/ Masterpiece Theater drama! Plus, the free breakfast at a local mom & pop cafe was lovely-- all friendly local Italians who made us feel right at home. Plus it was next to the old town and the beach front with many places to walk to. It was nice to feel like we were living like "locals" rather than in a touristy hotel.

Some of the bathroom and light fixtures didn't work correctly. (But it was a relatively minor inconvenience next to the positives.)

All good with the room. Cosy with beautiful furnitures.

This house is stunning with many antique furniture pieces and a lot of character. It was quiet and a little off the beaten path. The partnership with the cafe down the street was a perfect place to start the day. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. We would definitely stay again.

I wish there was some black out blinds for the morning sun.

Het is een prachtige plek. Een hele vriendelijke gastheer die je altijd kunt appen. Het was een contactloze check in en out en dat is prima voor ons. Wij hadden de grote kamer met badkamer maar de andere kamer had een badkamer op de gang. Een fijne plek die centraal ligt. Parkeren in de parkeergarage want de parkeerplaatsen voor de deur waren altijd bezet, zelfs in het laagseizoen.

Het ruikt erg vies in de hal, naar sigarettenrook van de bewoners boven in het pand. Het bed was voor ons veel te zacht en aan vervanging toe. Ontbijt is alleen koffie en een croissant maar voor deze prijs is dat zeker wel in verhouding.

A unique place.😍 You are in old Italian movie. Historical villa in excellent condition! We were amazed about this place and the owner Michele was very attentive to our questions and always ready to help. Very quiet, cozy, you feel at home,but like you're a Baron from Baroque time. Luxury and elegance. Paintings, porcelain, books... It's located near great Theatre Verdi, which was my dream and a must-see. Nearby is a quiet park and a promenade by the sea. We are very grateful for the opportunity to stay at this villa and fully experience Italian style. 100% recommended, and we will definitely back to this villa again. This place is suitable for people who appreciate art and respect all the rules like in museum. Thank you Michele for your friendly way and support for all guests. 👍🏼✅🤗

Spacious and clean room

1) PAS de petit déjeuner ! Le propriétaire savait que le dimanche de Pâques les 2 cafés proches étaient fermés, mais il ne nous a pas prévenu, et n'a rien organisé. Il y avait pourtant beaucoup d'autres cafés ouverts. Une attitude inadmissible our un B&B. Pas de petit déjeuner ! C'est une honte de se déclarer B&B 1) NO breakfast! The owner knew that on Easter Sunday the two nearby cafés were closed, but didn’t inform us and didn’t arrange anything. There were plenty of other cafés open, though. This is unacceptable behavior for a B&B. No breakfast! It’s a disgrace to call yourself a B&B. 2) L'appartement comprend 2 chambres. Notre salle de bain était à l'extérieure de la chambre, comme indiqué sur l'annonce. Cependant, il était normal de préciser que la seconde chambre est aussi louée, avec tous les désagréments que cela engendre. Aucune sécurité. 2) The apartment has two bedrooms. Our bathroom was outside the room, as stated in the listing. However, it should have been clearly specified that the second bedroom is also rented out, with all the inconveniences that entails. There was no security.

The room is very spacious and nicely decorated. The breakfast is served at a bar next to the bus stop in the Amalfi direction. We experienced some cold, rainy days and the heating system worked flawlessly.

Chambre d'un style exceptionnel, on a l'impression de dormir dans un palais vénitien. Aussi la taille du logement se démarque de bien d'autres (30m2+) L'hôte, Michele, est très professionnel et sympathique. Le petit déjeuner dans un café à proximité était bon, et le patron très sympathique et même drôle, quand on parle l'italien, bien sûr.

Rien, si ce n'est que l'eau chaude met un peu de temps à arriver. Tout était parfait.
