Rezervovali jsme si pobyt s letištním transferem, bohužel nebyl poskytnut. Museli jsme si dopravu zařizovat sami. Nikdo nam nevrátil peníze za tuto službu - asi 20 eur. Majitel tvrdil, ze jde o chybu bookingu, booking sdělil, ze majitel tuto službu nabízí sám (ale neposkytuje). Dále byl od druhého dne na pokoji šílený smrad. Stěžovali si na něj uz dříve někteří hosti (viz recenze). Bolela me z toho hlava. Majitel neřešil a při stížnosti na booking vše zapřel. Mam však i konverzace na whatsapp.

communication from the host was very good but it didn't meet our expectations on so many levels. This was a birthday present so I wanted the experience to be very special. Although this was little more pricey than the average accommodation in Salerno I booked it due to excellent reviews and inclusive breakfast and roundtrip airport transfer as well as other things. After booking, I was told the transport was not included. Also the decor in the room is very eccentric and little odd. There were some erotic?! pictures in the bathrooms as well as eclectic mixture of Asian art/statues in the bedroom. Felt like staying in a strange museum than a B&B. We were given the wrong set of keys when we arrived which meant that we could enter the building but could not lock our room or the bathroom (which was across the communal areas) on our first night. So we hardly slept. This was rectified the next day, but we still had to leave the room unlocked for them to solve the issue. Also the bed in the room makes a lot of noise even with a slightest movement. I can see that several other guests have commented on this previously but is not sorted. We took the airlink bus from Salerno airport to the train station but the hotel is at least 30 mins walk from the train station. It is very close to a ferry terminal but this is NOT the main terminal. If you want to explore Amalfi coast then you need to go to the Salerno concordia ferry terminal which is very close to the train station and again 30 mins walk from B&B. The included breakfast is actually served at a local cafe 6 mins walk from the B&B, and when we turned up on Sunday it was shut! Coffee machine is located in the communal area and not in your room. Also the coffee machine did not appear until the 2nd day of our stay. Shampoo and conditioner were there but looked like someone had left it there rather than provided. There were no bathrobes. There is no luggage storage option so if you are not leaving in the morning you will have to take your luggage with you. There was an excellent seafood restaurant around the corner but there were no supermarkets or anywhere that you can actually buy basics from near by.

Apartment is nicely decorated with all the utilities in place. Location is very good , close to historical centre of Salerno and seafront. Michele is very responsive in all matters and answers almost immediately. Pizzeria he recommended is a gem

The location was amazing and very close to one of the ferry pick up and drop off locations. Michele (the host) was extremely responsive and helpful. We had our free breakfast at the nearby bar, and the croissant was delicious (however, there are no savory options available there).

As it's an older place, there is a bit of an 'old place' smell. We found the bed to be not so comfortable and very creaky. We also didn't realize how close our room would be to the other tenant's room, and so we only ended up staying 1 night of our 4 night stay as it was our honeymoon and the place didn't feel private enough. As it is high season, and non refundable, there was no way to get any money back (while it would have been amazing as we were already paying quite a bit for honeymoon expenses, we understood that this was not possible).

Everything! It was like staying in a beautiful museum of somebody's interesting life. The host was super friendly and forthcoming, the property is reachable by walking from the station and the port, and the breakfast is in a beautiful charismatic cafe just around the corner. Also the best lemon granita in Salerno is just 3min walk away. I wish I could have stayed longer and explored the city more.

Francesco was great and very responsive. My room and the place in general were always spotless. The location was excellent and I felt that Francesco was very thorough.
