Clarion Pointe Bloomington – Normal near I-55 and University

Bathrooms had mold and no items for shampoo and air unit had ants crawling around it with ants on floor, glass doors entering broken not working. Pillow cases and sheets off white yellow stained and bed hard as rock. Scary spot

I needed a few days away to decompress and I'm so glad I choose this location. The man who greeted me and checked me in was very welcoming and friendly. He has an amazing professionalism and quite the sense of humor. It was so very apprecited especially since I was just trying to escape for a few days. The room was nice and clean. A great value also! The lady the next day was super friendly. I felt very welcome by both of them. I will definitely stay here again when i need a break from life.

Good location, less than 10 minute drive from campus. Decent amount of parking. Good air conditioning. Bed quite comfortable if you like firm mattress.

We had very early appointments so we could not have any food from the breakfast, but the beds were large and very comfortable for queen sizes. Just two *BUT*s in the whole staying: 1st - the ICE MACHINE were VERY PHILFY DIRT to even think put in our drinks, as the washing machine as well. 2nd - I know we arrived with couple in advance than is on the rules of the hotel to check in, HOWEVER, the "fee" charged on us ($30 !!!) it was more than half of we paid for a night on the rooms. I won't say if we arrived with 12h in advance and request early check-in and do not pay anything, but hey, the hotel already had a room empty and clear.

The bedroom wasn’t bad, but the bathroom was filthy and the property was in bad condition. I would not recommend staying here.

The check in clerk was very friendly. The room was very basic. Towels and sheets were dingy.

The overall stay was good but the breakfast options went not great at all went and they only had waffles, cereals, oatmeal, toast, no protein very disappointed with the breakfast

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We wanted an inexpensive hotel for a good nights sleep. That’s what we got. Could smell pot outside and it lingered in on those who were smoking it.

Worked fine for a night of traveling.The breakfast that was included was enough to get your day started the room ac was ice cold almost to cold! But throughout the bulidng had to be in the high 70s. Fine people who work there but if i was staying 2 or more nights i would find a more inclusive stay.
