The room was nice, nothing special about it but it was kind of old-fashioned and cosy. The location is great, so close to the station and we loved having the restaurant downstairs, we ate there every evening as we didn't want to go out in the cold or rain, the food was very nice, as is to be expected in Japan :)

We didn't have much interaction with the hosts, they were professional but not exactly friendly, maybe just our own expectations after many wonderful encounters at previous guesthouses in Japan.
