Hostel Fuji Matsuyama Base

The vibe was super cozy and the host very kind.

The room was cold even with a heater on, while the shower was freezing. Mattress was a hard but still ok.

Great host, speaks well in English as well! The place is clean and comfy. The beds had enough privacy, and towels and earplugs were provided. The showers were clean, and shampoo was provided. And it wasn't even a problem being a vegan here - the host prepared a suitable breakfast. Thank you for that!

Amazing host, amazing location near Fuji-san, tasty homemade breakfasts as an option. You can meet other travelers in the living space downstairs, have a chat with them while you use the kitchen or just chill in the living room. One standard shower and one onsen style shower. The host, Hiro, even kindly helped me out when I forgot an expensive shampoo bottle in the shower room and sent it to a Japanese address where I could pick it up.

It's an older Japanese house, so you have to be wary of loud conversations so you don't disrupt the sleep of others in the rooms around you. Otherwise no problem with any kind of noise.

離富士山站步行有些距離。
