Taylor village inn and suites

I just wanted to promote and let everyone know what an outstanding motel establishment we have here locally in Taylor. The Taylor Village Inn and Suites. We had reason to stay here recently and it was incredible. The amenities for the price alone is unheard of. Free Wi-Fi access with great speed, full blown cable HBO, etc. with modern big screen adjustable TV, microwave in room, mini-fridge, coffee maker with all the makings, spotless clean, beds and pillows that are like clouds, and best of all, a staff that is beyond compare to get or provide you anything you need in a snap with a simple call to the desk. My wife and I have traveled and stayed in hotels all over the world, and I am here to tell you that you will not find a better deal or place to stay than this ANYWHERE. Kudos to the staff and Taylor Village Inn and Suites for providing such a quality and comfortable place to stay locally.

I had never stayed here before, but I found it to be an excellent choice. The clerk was friendly and found me a room downstairs, which I require. The room was clean and comfortable with all the necessities, including a coffee maker. More people arrived after me, but the noise was a minimal. I will stay again.

It seems this place has double standards. We were putting a homeless guy to work. He had shown commitment for several days while still without a place to live. We chose to put him up at a nearby hotel and continue his opportunity to grow. Earlier in the day, I was quoted $325 rent per week. When we arrived, the desk clerk quoted a higher price of $435. I told him I had been quoted the lower price and showed him my phone when I had called. He even saw the caller ID for my business on his phone. But, because the homeless guy had been seen around there before he maintained he would do so only at the higher price. We walked out. Folks, your standards are pathetic. You also killed your chances of hosting a contract employee when they visit in a few months for a couple weeks.

While the room was clean and bed was comfortable, the A/C unit made a noise when it cut off; there was no offered breakfast and there were coffee packets available in the bathroom but no coffee maker. The shower/tub was located in the bed area with no privacy curtain.

The great price and the amount of time staying in Taylor drew me to this motel. The room was clean, smelled fresh and some what dated as in the air condition was attached to the outside window. During the night the a/c wasn't always as quite. However, on the plus side the rooms were so thick I couldn't hear anyone staying next to us. The shower had a high head spray and new shower wall that was clean! Besides the noise of the a/c(for regulation). The outside lighting was seeping around the seals of the door and around the blackout curtain. For people like me the light seeping in made more of a difference than the a/c. If all I had was to have these two complains for the price. I'd much rather have the lower prices. I wasn't in the room to spend a lot of time, just to spend the night.

We stayed downstairs and the beds were comfortable, the room was very clean and the AC worked well. I was thrilled to learn the doors do not slam when they close, so we weren't bothered by that, but we did hear the occasional footsteps from upstairs room but nothing out of the ordinary. For the price we paid, it was a great value and there are working cameras that are being monitored, so that was nice.

Room was fine rate changed when I got there but the nice man gave what they quoted. A little outdated but clean. Had a nice grass spot for dogs out behind hotel. Says they offered breakfast but never found that. Had vending machines out front. Seems like a few renters live their weekly or monthly.

We were in town for one night for a wedding and the rates were so reasonable we decided just to stay here. There's nothing luxury about the place but it is very clean comfortable and the staff was great. I needed more shampoo for all the kids we had and they let us come pick up a new bottle of Tresseme to use for as long as we needed! The refrigerator ruined our milk and soft drinks. But like I said it was only for one night and I was very surprised at the cleanliness and the new tvs with a great selection. Stay here if your low maintenance and budget conscience.

I've been here on business for a month with a month to go and I am very glad that I stayed at the Taylor Village Inn. While it is light on the amenities, the owners make up for it in the care of the property. The price is right, the rooms are clean and updated and the property is secure. Worth a try long or short term and I will stay here again if I am in the area.

The management was very helpful. We were late, with no reservations. He checked us in and we found the room to be refurnished throughout. Very comfortable bed with wi fi, refrigerator, micro wave in the room. The room was large for a motel. We had a pleasant stay with very little noise from the outside.
