Hot tub was not real clean notany towels either

This is a 1 star hotel, with a Ramada sign out front. Room had mosquitos, bathroom wall leaked when a shower was used upstairs. Even the attraction brochures up front were out of date, and completely out of area. Was suppose to have had a queen bed, got a double, and because we had a dog, they wouldn't give us another room. Overall, not happy at all.

My stay at this Ramada was honestly terrible. From the start, the female receptionist was very rude when my room key didn’t work, and her attitude made the situation worse. The whole experience just went downhill from there. It was raining and cold outside, so I turned on the heater in my room, and actual smoke started coming out. The fire alarm went off for a while, which was scary and stressful. The bathroom smelled so bad it made me gag while brushing my teeth - you'd think I am kidding, there were flies all over the bathroom. Flies even came to the room and my food, it was so disgusting.. This wasn't even the end; the AC didn’t work either. Even set to 60°F, the room was hot and uncomfortable. I couldn’t sleep the entire night and felt miserable. After three awful days, I left earlier than planned because I just couldn’t take it anymore. This was by far the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had.

The upside was that multiple reviews here mention roaches, and we didn't see any! We were disappointed by the cleanliness of the hotel (the cupboard around the in-room refrigerator was disintegrating, the carpets felt grimy and slightly damp, there was glitter embedded in the floor and the night stands were very dusty except where there was clearly spilled liquid.) The TV didn't work until the morning we were leaving. On arrival we only had two small pillows on the bed, and when I asked at the front desk for others, they firmly said I could "only have one more" and handed me--not to be dramatic--the lumpiest un-cased pillow I've seen in a LONG time. Breakfast was fine. We didn't have a chance to use the hot tub because despite the listed in-hotel open time of 9:00 a.m., the front desk told us they didn't open until "9:30 or so." I mentioned the signs and they let us know, "A lot of things have changed. We don't know why the signs aren't right." (Other reviews mention the pool is closed until 10:00 a.m., and with checkout at 11:00, we just decided to leave.) The shower was dirty and the head was calcified, so we didn't use it. There was also a wedding with a DJ/music playing until about midnight, so sleep was rough. All in all, not a great stay, but also one of the cheapest options nearby, so.

need to let people know about the doors and turn ac on

I didn't like the smell of the room smelled like something rotten. Turning on the split made it smell worse. lamps were torn and ripped. Pillow weren't large but more like throw pillows. For the price that we spent I wouldn't recommend it to someone. only area that was decent was Breakfast and the pool

We reserved for adult grandkids and and great grandson. The kids couldn't stay in the rooms, as they were not cleaned,dirty linens and BUGS! This was not at an early check-in, but well after the room should have been ready. I am appalled that the Ramada name would allow such conditions.
